Inner Beauty

Okay; now that we’ve covered most of the bases when it comes to outer beauty, let’s talk about what’s on the inside and how to use it to our advantage.

First, you have to learn to “see” that person on the inside.  How do you do this?  Well, this is how I did it.

I went back to the basics.  I asked myself some fundamental questions; Who, When, how, and Why had I been created in the first place?

I just knew the beginning was the place to start.  What I found out impowered me to move mountains in my life.

I remembered being taught that this world is temporary and what is eternal is of more substance.  I remember being challenged to put God to the test; to trust Him to deliver on His promises.

When I lost my entire identity at the age of twelve, clinging to that child-like faith became my last hope for survival.

Could God save me?  The world had failed me.

I was certain of just a few things at that point.  He created me in the beginning.  He said that I can change my own situation if I had faith.  What else could I do but put Him to the test?  He and I were the only ones who hadn’t given up on me.

God literally became my end-all.  I started using WWJD to measure all my decisions.  I also started holding everything I was told about myself by others up against what God had told me.  I soon discovered who had the truth.

As I was doing this, I came to view myself as God does.  Once I saw myself as a truly beautiful person, I simply let that person shine out through my eyes when I met people.  This is my final and best beauty tip.  If you want others to love you, learn to love yourself first.

This is Blind Becca signing off. Peace out.
