I Love Dogs

Even though I grew up literally frolicking with wild dogs every day of my childhood; I haven’t always appreciated how totally amazing these creatures are. I was nearly forty when I got my first dog of my very own. Let me point out a few things to my readers that I’ve learned.

Dogs do so many amazing activities for people every single day. From walking a blind woman through the halls of Congress to alerting the epileptic man of an impending seizure; they have enhanced our independence and success in our daily lives.

Dogs rescue people from all kinds of dangerous situations.

They’ve helped lead survivors from burning buildings. They’ve found children lost in the wilderness.

They risk their lives everyday as they serve mankind.

Did you know dogs are born with the attributes of God?

Dogs practice unconditional love.

If a dog takes something from you; he will bring it back.

No matter how much love you show a dog; he will always give it back to you tenfold.

These are the same qualities we should strive for in life if we want to ascend to our higher selves.

To be more like God. Or your dog. Take your pick.
